The website of children’s author Gareth Hopkins made by me – his much cooler dog. I say ‘children’s author’ but as you can see he has no books available. Apparently his debut picture book is being published by Andersen Press. He can’t catch a frisbee with his mouth though, can he?

Gareth has been writing forever which is what every writer says so that’s boring. He came runner up in the Mercia Sound ‘young writers’ competition in the 1980s which proves two things:

1. He is not a winner.
2. He is well old now.

He has a mug that says: ‘My mum’s no.1 children’s author’ but that’s only because Cliff Richard has never written for children. Oh look, a rabbit!

As well as having no books published, Gareth also writes adverts that everybody ignores or fast-forwards. He’s won a few awards for this very silly job. You might see some of his work out in the world, but if I was you I’d just watch funny cat videos instead.

By some minor miracle Gareth is represented by Jodie Hodges at United Agents.

You can follow him on Twitter or contact him here if you’d like to hear more about his non-existent books.
